I am delighted to see that among a charming and spritely cast of characters, I appear numerous times in David Sater's latest gelatin-and-silver alchemy. David brought his camera to the Hudson Valley swamp I used to live in, on the day I swam fully clothed bedecked in Slavic ancestral regalia, poppies and motherwort, in deep conversation with our beloved lion and armed with other assorted tools of the Arte, during the making of Kahn and Selesnick's image for The Drowning World's La Force.
